I love Japan!!..Just got back less than a week ago and had a blast! We played 3 shows- in Osaka, Tokyo and Nagoya. The energy from the audience was awesome!!
On our day off we went to see the temples (kinkakuji and kiyomizu dera ) and ate a lot of amazing sushi! Thank you to all the people who came to the shows and met us at the train stations/ airport…Love ya and cant wait to see u again next time, you are all very sweet.
Im off to play a show today in Bakersfield for KELLY 95.3. All proceeds will benefit the Bakersfield homeless shelter at the Toniq Ultra Lounge. If you are in the area pls come out and bring a blanket or $5 to help the homeless.
Last night I performed at the Dream Foundation’s dinner celebrating the 10,000th dream its has given to someone who has a life threatening illness. Its was very moving to hear the stories from the people that had their dream’s fulfilled and how much joy that brought to their lives. Such a wonderful foundation and it was so great to be there to support it. I try my best to be as green as possible…when I can i will walk instead of getting in a car, bring my own bags to the store and buy bottles that are made from 100 % plants….I wasn’t always this way but seeing how the world around us is slowly deteriorating from constant abuse to the environment i want to do my bit to contribute to it getting better…I hope u guys are too ..;) peace and love Ori x
I’ve lost count on how many times i have played “According to You”..;) but when we played in Baltimore at Best Buy all these children came up and sang…definitely something that i wont forget…
I have been writing a bunch of new tunes i am really excited about the direction so far….i feel after everything that has happened in the past couple of years im a different person…i have grown up spiritually and know who i am a little more.
Its the ups and down that you endure as an artist that mould you..make you better …people can change your perspective ….meeting great genuine ones …..some letting you down…and some that come into your life to teach u something…i really believe everything happens for a reason …My tunes are about hope, connections ,stories and having fun…i really feel my duty as a musician is to bring people together and to inspire. It will definitely be a little more rock than the last record as when u tour and play show after show you learn more about yourself..what feels more comfortable and what seems to connect…when I play the rockier/blues tunes i feel more at ease…im looking forward to making record after record and i hope u guys will join me on this journey..;) x
